TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to E Heron, 33 Hamilton Terrace, NW
Date5 August 1915
Description'I very muchfear that a letter of yours now several months old. enclosing your index of certain volumes of Brady's Foraminifera has escaped the attention it deserved, and I must beg you to excuse the oversight on the ground of the great pressure of work which has fallen upon me since the beginning of the war.
First I have to thank you for the sheets of the index you have been good enough to send and hope to arrange at a future time to take advantage of your kind offer with regard to the other volumes mentioned in your letter. I am just leaving London for a short holiday and the Assistant Librarian is himself away at present; but I hope to be able to go into the matter with him on my return.'
