TitleCopy letter from [Robert William Frederick Harrison], Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to The Honorary Secretary, Chemical Society
Date22 March 1916
Description'Dear Sir,
Your letter of yesterday will be reported to the Council of this Society at their next Meeting. The question of the restriction of paper supplies has, however, already been before them at a recent Meeting, when it was agreed "that the Council are not in possession of sufficient information to justify any actions on their part". In the meantime the Council are considering how economy can be exercised as regards the paper used in their own publications.'
