TitleCopy letter from Sir William Bate Hardy, FRS, Secretary of the Royal Society; to [John William] Nicholson, FRS
Date13 February 1920
DescriptionRequests the return as soon as possible of the Minutes of the Mathematics Committee sent some days previously, as they are needed for the Committee of Papers on Thursday. Advises that at the Officers' Meeting they discussed publishing a report on the Relativity Discussion, and it was thought best to publish Sir William Bate Hardy's abstract along with short abstracts of the other speakers. This needs the authority of the Committee of Papers and this would be facilitated by being recommended by the [Mathematics] Sectional Committee, which both Nicholson and Hardy are competent to act for under Standing Order 43, and asks if he agrees that they should recommend the report for publication as from the Mathematics Committee.
