DescriptionInforms Dr. [Edward John] Russell that under the will of the late Mr. [Percival] Spencer [Umfreville] Pickering the Society is entitled to legacy upon trust to procure the writing and publication of an account of the testator's work in pure science. Explains that Council have asked if Dr. Russell would be willing to collaborate with Dr. [Thomas Martin] Lowry in preparing such an account. Notes that it is proposed to offer a fee of 100 guineas for this work.
