That Edward Meyrick reported favourably, with no comment on the paper 'The induction of melanism in the lepidoptera and its subsequent inheritance' by [John William Heslop] Harrison and F C Garrett, communicated by MacBride. Bateson reported favourably on the paper 'Studies on the relation of gonadic structure to plumage characterisation in the domestic fowl.' by A.W. Greenwood and F.A.C. Crew, communicated by Punnett. Bateson comments on the style the piece was written in, which Dale will send to Punnett. Asks what should be done with the papers.
