Patton's paper on 'Sandflies' was not printed as Dr. Guy Marshall, a member of the Tropical Diseases Committee wanted to view the specimans Patton would be bringing back. This was to make sure there was a new species. States there was no way of communicating with Patton but all of his other papers have been published. Returns the 'Sandlflies' manuscript and Prof. Newstead's letter [not enclosed]. |
