TitleCopy letter from Francis Alexander Towle, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to the Museum Galleries
Date6 December 1929
DescriptionInforms the Museum Galleries that they have permission to make an engraving of the Royal Society's portrait of Charles II by Peter Lely, on the condition that due acknowledgement appears on the engraving. Would be glad if the Museum Galleries sent a copy of the engraving when it has been made, and would like to see a copy of the engraving of Charles Darwin's portrait too.
