Description | Correspondence, notes and printed matter, mainly on the 'Tizard-Cherwell controversy' on the strategic air offensive, arising from CP Snow's Godkin Lectures at Harvard on 'Science and Government'.
Reference is also made to the previous quarrel between Tizard and Cherwell in July 1936, which led to the dissolution and subsequent reconstitution of the 'Tizard Committee'.
