Description | Andrews writes: 'In course of an earlier part of this research I made many preliminary experiments to investigate the possible electro-chemical effect between the polished end disks or alternate polar terminals of straight round steel magnets when immersed as elements in some electrolytes, only the north and south terminal planes of each steel magnet being simultaneously exposed to the action of the electrolyte.'
