DescriptionVolume of the manuscript versions of papers published by the Royal Society in volume 98 of 'Philosophical Transactions' in 1808, and part of a paper by Humphry Davy published in 1809. An insert in the front of the volume states 'missing XIII'. A paper by Nevil Maskelyne titled 'On a new property of the tangents of three arches trisecting the circumference of a circle' is missing from this set of manuscripts.

The volume includes some original illustrations and figures in various media (drawings, watercolours) in support of the papers.
