Note reads: 'This Register is very uncorrect and the figures and schemes generally wanting the true Original having been lost in Mr Oldenburgs time but was happyly retrieved by Dr Sloan Apr 1703 In which are several Discourses and Experiments not in this Book an Account of which the next Page contains'

There are two indices: the first by Richard Waller in 1687; the second is anonymous

At the front; ' A Catalogue of The Discourses And Experiments in the True Original Second Register wanting in this. '

At the back; ' A Table of the Experiments, Discourses etc Contained in this Register. ' List by subject, with separate column for page number, by whom brought in and where printed.
