Title | Referee's report by Augustus Desiré Waller, on a paper 'The colour sensations in terms of luminosity' by William De Wiveleslie Abney |
Date | nd [April 1899] |
Description | Not recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society', from a physiological standpoint. Considers the author to have confused the meaning of objective and subjective meanings for the words 'colur' and 'colour sensation'. The paper is confused and difficult to follow. Suggests there should be a clear statement of the problem discussed and a clear statement of the advances made.
