Title | Referee's report by William de Wiveleslie Abney, on the Croonian Lecture 'Studies in visual sensation' by Conwy Lloyd Morgan |
Date | April 1901 |
Description | Sectional Committee: Physiology
Not recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions, but it should be published in the Proceedings in full instead. All the accompanying illustrations should be reproduced. Though the results obtained are very interesting, there is a good deal more to be done in the matter of experiment. The question of illumination has not been dealt with at all adequately. Abney should take the paper as a preliminary study to more serious work. [Published in Proceedings of the Royal Society, 1901].
