Title | Referee's report by William Chandler Roberts-Austen, on a paper 'An investigation of the spectra of flames resulting from operations in the open hearth and 'basic' bessemer processes' by Walter Noel Hartley and Hugh Ramage |
Date | December 1900 |
Description | Sectional committee: Physics and chemistry
Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions in full but is 'hardly sufficiently familiar' with the detail of spectroscopic work to suggest modifications, if any are needed. No illustrations were sent to him except the one in the text. It is an excellent work with the results of much interest in connection with two processes of great industrial importance.
