TitleReferee's report by Ernest Howard Griffiths, on a paper 'The capacity for heat of water between the freezing & boiling points' by Howard Turner Barnes
DateJuly 1900
DescriptionSectional committee: Physics and Chemistry

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions, in full. Does not consider it absolutely necessary that the two photographs of the apparatus be reproduced though it would be helpful to the reader it the one numbered 'two' was given. The author might be requested to select a few of the tables from each section to print in full and only give the final results of the remaining tables. It is a most valuable contribution which marks an important and distinct step in the advancement of their knowledge on the subject.
