TitleCopy letter from Arthur William Rucker, on a paper 'Total eclipse of the sun, January 22, 1898, observations at Visiadrug' by Joseph Norman Lockyer, Captain Chisholm-Batten and Alexander Pedler to Joseph Norman Lockyer
Date23 March 1900
DescriptionSectional committee: Physics and chemistry

The President and Council wish the publication of the aforementioned paper to be postponed until the discussion of the photographs of the spectra are complete. It is not considered desirable to split the accounts of the observations into two parts published at different times, and it is felt that the disadvantage of the postponement of the publication of the first part will be more than compensated for by the publication of the two parts together in the Philosophical Transactions.
