Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions. All the illustrations should be reproduced. The paper is of considerable general interest in more than one branch of zoology. It is the first complete account of the changes which occur in the ovary and uterus during the oestrous cycle of the sheep, and so far as he knows, of any animal, and as such marks a distinct step in the advancement of natural knowledge.
