TitleReferee's report by Grafton Elliot Smith, on a paper 'Notes on the cpmparative anatomy of the middle ear' by Albert A Gray
Date[October 1912]
DescriptionSectional Committee: Zoology

Not recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. The photographs which are the main part of the paper are 'too obscure for reproduction'. No reference is made in the paper to other work in the field. Refers to work by Robert Broom and David Meredith Seares Watson which are doing important researches in the subject. Suggests the paper, even if more complete, would be more suitable for a zoological or anatomical journal.
