TitleReferee's report by Sydney Howard Vines, on a paper 'A comparative study of oxidation by catalysts of organic and inorganic origin' by Alfred James Ewart
Date14 February 1914
DescriptionSectional Committee: Botany

Not recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. Does not consider that the paper makes a significant advance in knowledge. Suggests that the paper should be reviewed by a biochemist. If the other referee recommends publication, he will defer to their opinion, but will suggest that the paper be significantly revised to correct poor structure. Would suggests the Proceedings as a more suitable place for publication.
