TitleReferee's report by Alfred Fowler, on a paper 'Notes on the spectrum of gold' by William Mitchinson Hicks
Date12 January 1932
DescriptionSectional committee: Physics

Not recommended for publication in its present form. The paper disregards methods of analysis that have been used successfully by other authors. His criticisms of other authors seems unjustified. The author's procedure is very arbitrary and his notations are very difficult to follow. It is doubtful that the paper could be accepted in its revised form.
