TitleLetter from Geoffrey Ingram Taylor and Herbert John Gough, on two papers 'The diffraction of sound pulses I. Diffraction by a semi-infinite plane' and 'The diffraction of sound pulses II. Diffraction by an infinite wedge' by Frederick Gerard Friedlander to The Royal Society
Date29 February 1940
DescriptionCommunicates the paper for publication. He doesn't think there will be any issues with regard to 'national interest', but he supposes the Society will ask some government departments their opinion. The 'civil defense people' are most likely to be interested in the paper, as will the Ministry of Supply.

Includes copy of both paper's summary.

[Both papers published in Proceedings of the Royal Society A, 1946].
