TitleReferee's report by John Bretland Farmer, on a paper 'A conjugating "yeast''' by B T P Barker
DateJune 1901
DescriptionSectional committee: Botany

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions. The paper should be published in full, except perhaps the part dealing with fermentation, this appears to rather detract from the value of the paper as a whole. If the idea underlying its introduction was that of emphasising the evidence that the author is dealing with a true yeast, a short summary of the facts could be included in an earlier part of the paper. All the illustrations should be reproduced. No general remarks given.

[Published in Philosophical Transactions B, 1901].
