OtherInfoThroughout the most of the Protectorate, Annesley supported the Parliamentarian cause although towards the Restoration, he showed more support for Royalists. He gained a lot of wealth from lands in Ireland, which were allotted to him by Cromwell. Throughout his life, he built a large library, which was sold after the death.
