Title | Unpublished letter, regarding Wildbore's paper from [Charles] Wildbore to Sir Joseph Banks |
Date | 16 June 1787 |
Description | Wildbore responds to questions posed by Nevil Maskelyne (AP/7/20) relating to his paper on spherical motion. He defines the rotation and measure of vis inertia as well as the motive force, vis motrix, and vis viva, all discussed in previous papers by [Leonhard] Euler. Wildbore's manuscript is found at AP/7/16.
A note at the end of the letter states that if the paper should be printed, Mr W [William Wales] would like a proof sheet to add notes if needed.
