Title | Letter from Nevil Maskelyne, Greenwich, to Richard Shepherd |
Date | 21 April 1793 |
Description | Sir George Shuckburgh states that William Windham MP is more unreasonable than he was aware of and that he insists upon himself naming all the members of the Committee (on the claims of Thomas Mudge against the Board of Longitude).
Thomas Mudge petitioned Parliament after his Father's instrument to determine Longitude was awarded £500. Mudge believed it should have claimed the higher sums offered by the Board of Longitude. |
