He has read all the correspondence and accounts that he could get hold of, thanking Swinton for sending him a photograph of his hand. Warns Swinton to 'beware lest this ability of taking photographs of substances through others should lead you down the primrose path of impropriety & betray you into making snap-shots'. Wishes Swinton could iinvent a machine that would enable the photography of people's thoughts through their words. |
