Description | Very glad to learn of the satisfactory working of Lord Durham's electrical plant. As to the Duke of Devonshire, advises Swinton is welcome to use his name where deemed proper and that Lord Durham will also be a glad referee. Updates Swinton that he has got over his difficulties with the McMahon[?] coils and that the apparaturs works beautifully. He is carrying out experiments with it but they are not yet sufficiently definite to justify discolsing them. |
