Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to Clive Cookson [Esquire], Milburn House, Newcastle-on-Tyne |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 21 June 1921 |
Description | Answering a previous letter and informing that he has spoke to the Secretary of the Royal Society of Arts about having an extra meeting this session to allow for a paper by Professor Henry Armstrong and Dr Klein to be read, as Cookson desires. Explains that he only matter of difficulty is finance as they already have a sufficient number of papers to completely fill their Journal during the vacation, and the only way to accommodate the paper is by issuing a double number. Suggests Cookson and his friends can absorb the additional cost by paying for the additional papers. Comments he is not the President of the Royal Society of Arts but rather Chairman of the Council. |
