Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to Miss Blanche Sitwell |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 7 July 1927 |
Description | Written on Swinton's behalf, by his Secretary A. W. Langley. Referring to their conversation of that afternoon, should like to emphasise that he does not think there will be any need to run her electric light cables in the basement through metal tubes, as long as she has only sweating of the water pipe to contend with. Enquires whether the water pipe and the casing containing the electric light cables have always been in the same position relatively to one another as they are now. Comments that the repairs to the water pipe seem to have been well carried out and the wet does not appear to have had any effect on the electric light cables. |
