Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to E. H. R. Trenow [Esquire] |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 2 August 1927 |
Description | Sorry to say he has just heard from [Robin] Houstoun that the Board of the Silicate Syndicate Ltd, of which Houstoun is Manager, will not agree to his becoming a director of Ceara, as they want to retain the whole of his time. Houstoun forwards his thanks to Trenow and Roney for offering him the position, which he would very much have liked to have accepted for personal reasons. |
