Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to W. H. Pilmour [Esquire] |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 28 September 1927 |
Description | Written on Swinton's behalf by his Secretary, A. W. Langley. Acknowledges receipt of a previous letter and the proof print of the Report and Accounts, returning them. Explains Swinton had to leave early this morning for a meeting in Cambridge. Swinton is of the opinion that his wording of the paragraph relative to the honour conferred upon Sir Charles [Algernon] Parsons is the better of the two and has asked him to telephone to Mr Prest on the matter, as suggested by Pilmour. The matter will be settled between Sir Charles Parsons and Sir Eustice Tennyson D'Eyncourt. |
