Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to Sir Humphry Rolleston, K. C. B., M. D., 55 Upper Brook Street, W. 1. |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 6 February 1928 |
Description | His attention has been drawn to the report of Rolleston's Address of 17 November, at the amalgamation of the Rontgen Society and the British Institute of Radiology, just published in the British Journal of Radiology, where referring to the Society of Radiographers he stated that "in 1924 an attempt was made to modify the restriction relating to making diagnostic reports on patients". Emphasises that this is incorrect and that there has been so such attempt, but on the contrary a successful move on the part of the medical fraternity to tighten up these restrictions, which was opposed by the members of the Council representing the Institution of Electrical Engineers. Discusses further detail of the context of what happened. |
