Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to W. S. Robinson [Esquire] |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 9 March 1928 |
Description | Acknowledges receipt of a previous letter and informs he shall be glad to have the report regarding the liquidation. With regard to the remuneration he does not know on what grounds shareholders can be asked to vote more than they have agreed to, but if it can be justified, requests that Robinson lets him know what can be said, adding that he only had in mind that the total remuneration is to be only 300 guineas, which is the amount voted, but as Robinson did most of the work, he is ready to divide this as 200 for Robinson and 100 for himself. Comments that Robinson can then claim to be paid out-of-pocket expenses but is a better expert on this than himself. |
