Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to Sir John |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 24 May 1928 |
Description | Responding to a previous letter accepting the view that an Editorial Note, such as Mr. Brittain has drafted, is the best solution and suggests that this note be slightly modified as per enclosed copies, which he believes make matters clearer [enclosures not present]. Comments that Professor Minchin only assisted him to the extent of preparing the selenium cell, in the making of which he was an expert and that the idea of applying cathode rays (electrons) was entirely his own idea. |
