Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to Lt-Col. Kenelm [William Edward] Edgcumbe |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 19 May 1929 |
Description | Refers to a previous letter and its enclosures, in case he has not made himself clear, wishes to add that his view is that [Joseph Wilson] Swan, after joining the Edison Swan Co., deliberately gave his own case away to save the Edison patent in which both he and Edison were financially interested, the reason being that Edison's patent was more likely to be held by the Court to be valid than any patent Swan himself had. |
