ArrangementThese letters and their associated documents, notes, and copies of printed articles were originally arranged chronologically by subject, in their respective files whilst in use by Swinton's office. This original order has been preserved as well as the original titles of the files. Some of the letters are labelled with reference numbers used by Swinton's office, which can be traced in the letter register books.
