ArrangementOriginal order has been preserved in the arrangement of this series, retaining previous file names, reference numbers, and filing.

This body of correspondence is thought to be incomplete as the letter register books only relate to a portion of the letters within the collection. The registers indicate that there were, or are more letters, potentially held elsewhere. The General Incoming letters (ACS/1/1), for example, have no corresponding index, despite being labelled with the same referencing system as the letters which do.
