Ricardo and Co Engineers was formed in 1915 by Harry Ralph Ricardo (FRS 1929), incorporated as Ricardo and Co., Engineers (1927) Ltd, to acquire the business of Ricardo and Co., Engineers Ltd; commonly known as Ricardo Consulting Engineers. Renamed Ricardo Consulting Engineers plc in 1978; renamed Ricardo Group plc 1988; renamed Ricardo International plc 1990; renamed Ricardo Group plc 1992; renamed Ricardo plc 1999; still extant as of 2025. |
