An ink inscription below title reads 'Communicated by' but does not include a name. Ink inscription final page verso reads 'not to be printed' followed by John George Children's initials.

Whilst the Royal Society declined to publish this paper in full, an abstract of the paper was published in volume 3 of Abstracts of the Papers Printed in the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society of London [later Proceedings of the Royal Society] as 'Journal of the weather, kept at High Wycombe during the year 1831, with monthly observations'. |
