Minutes of the l;ast meeting and Mr Bevan's Report to the Council respecting the height of the floor of the Council Room above the Bench Mark on Waterloo Bridge were read.
Discussed with special consideration the nature and form of the Metorological Journal, and resolved that they would recommend the form as displayed in these minutes for the future. [Form and columns set out]
Resolved that 750 draft printed forms to be ordered for the use of observers, and Mr Hudson be reqwuested ' to make his observatins by filling up these skeletons, and to stitch them up regularly in quarterly portions.
The Committee beg to recal the attention of the Council to their recommendation appearing on the Minutes of their Meeting of June 1826 relative to the lock [?] of various points in the course of the River on which it does not appear that any step has been taken .
The Committee, after inspecting the instrument, then adjourned to Thursday 2 August at 3 o'clock. ' |
