Recommendations

Minute 6 - Relations between IUGS and the Geologica Congresses

That the nomination of Dr Cronan as the National Committee's representative on the IUGS Study Group (to examine the structure of the IGC and its relations with IUGS ) be endorsed and that provision be made for his expenses in attending a meeting of the Study Group (probably in Zurich in December 1985) if the IUGS was unable to provide them.

Minute 10 - International Association of Sedimentology Congress, UK, 1990

That an informal invitation be extended to the International Association of Sedimentologists, on behalf of the National Committee for Geology, to hold its 1990 Congress in the UK (at one of five potential host universities).
