Resolved that the Society should meet the next day in Dr Pope's lodgings in Gresham College 'By reason that the former place of meeting for the Society, and other rooms also, convenient for the same, were taken up for the use of the Lord Mayor of London and the City, it was ordered, that the President, Mr Charles Howard, Mr Aereskine, Sir Robert Moray, Sir Paul Neile, Dr Balle, Mr Oldenburg, or any two or more o them should be a Committee to consider of another place for the future meetings of the said Society, in case they could not at all be continued in Gresham College, and that for that purpose the said Committee should meet on Tuesday next about six of the clock in Arundel House.' |
