Voted, that in the Petition to his Majesty about the enlargment of the Society's Charter, concerning a Recorder for the Society be omitted, and that there be inserted in the Petition a power to be granted to the President alone, to licence such books to be published by any Fellow of the Society, and to employ other Printers besides the Printers of the Society.
Voted, that the Petition be presented to the King by the President and others of the Council as the President shall take along with him.
Voted, that the Secretary of the State, Lord Arlington, be asked to prepare and have ready a Warrant concerning the particulars of the Petition for His Majesty to sign.
Voted that the Committee for the Additionals to the Society's Charter meet next Monday about 6 of the clock at the President's house, to consider the Statutes of the Society to be inserted in their 'History'
