Ordered that Lord Henry Howard of Norfolk, Mr Aerskine, Dr Goddard, Dr Ball, Mr Hoskins, Mr Hook and Mr Collins, or any three or more of them, be a Committee to consider which of the manuscripts of the Library, bestowed by Lord Howard should be kept, and which to be sent to the Univesity of Oxford, and the reasonss for both.
Mr Hoskyns asked to attend the Lord Howard with this Order, and to discover what time would be convenient for him to meet this committee.
Memorandum, that the Catalogue of the Books were committed to Mr Hoskyns for the use of the committee.
Memorandum, that an Assignment of Mr Cole's lease concerning Chelsey-college [Chelsea College] was read and sealed, and the same lease delivered with an Assignment endorsed. All put into the Cash chest of the Society at the house of the President. Also that Mr Cole had received the one hundred pounds in the said chest for the Assignment.
Ordered that Mr Colwall charge himself with the one hundred pounds in the cash chest of the Royal Society, and discharge himself of it by producing Mr Cole's acquittance.
