' Whereas by an order of Councell of May 13th 1691 it was ordered that th Societys Stock in the East India Company Should be transferred to Sir Joseh Williamson and he hitherto declining to accept of the same, it is this day ordered that the said Stock be transferred to Sir Joseph Williamson, Mr Herbert Mr Pitfield or Mr Creed.
Mr Woodward professor of Medicine in Gresham College, Mr Briggs, Mr Kirck, Mr John Henly, Sitr Thomas Willoughby and my Lord Radnor were all ballotted and approved to be proposed to the Society for Election. ' |
