' It was ordered that Mr Hunt should call for all the books of the Society now in the hands of any persons beyond six weeks according to the Statutes, and that if there should be a failure in returning the books, the Society should be acquainted with it, and that no Member should be lent any book without Order of the Society.
The Vice President promised to take care about the writeings of the Fee Farm rents, and to see how the arrears may be recovered as soon as possible.
It was ordered that any Clark shall be payd that the Secretary employs in any business of the Society dureing the absence of Mr Halley.
Mr Bembde promised to ask Mr Packer for a Deed of the Fee Farme Rents of the Priory of Lewis.
It was ordered that a Councill should be called this day 7 night at 11 a Clock in order to Consider the Statutes of the Society.
It was Ordered that Dr Sloan should subscribe in the name of the Society £20 for Mr Vernon to be paid by the Treasurer towards an Encouragement for his Voyage ot the Canaries, and to let hm know they expect of him besides the collections to take care to answer such Queries as should be recommended to him from the Society.
