' The President proposed to the Council to wait upon his Majesty with the Book of Charters and Laws, in Order to beg the Honour of having his Majesties Name writ upon the leaf proposed for it, which being put to the Ballot was agreed to Nemine Contradicente.
The President put the Question, whether what was to be read to his Majesty upon that Occation Should be in writing.
Which upon a Ballot waas carried in the Affirmative.
All the Gentlemen present at this Council were desired to meet on Monday next at Noon, or at any times before as they Shall think fit to draw up an Address accordingly.
It was Ordered, that the President be impowered to allow Dr Jurin to present Six instruments more, to Persons abroad for making Observations upon the weather. ' |
