' Orderd, That the Members of the Oxford and Dublin Societies, residing at Oxford and Dublin, which are Fellows of the Royal Society in considertion of their Charges for Experiments in these placesfor promoting the common end, shall be excused half their weekly payments, and be demanded from this time forward only 26 shilings a year.
Orderd, That the Treasurer pay to Mr Aston the Bill for copying some of the Registers being Twenty four pounds 11 shillings and 9 pence for the use of John Williams.
Orderd, That the Secretary, cause a generall Alphabeticall Index to be writ out of the particular Indexes of the Books of the Society.
Mr Waller and Mr Haak to make an Index, to two of the Minute Books, which have none.
Whereas severall Members of the Society are willing to give one or more Plates to the History of Fishes, which is now Printing at the Society's charge ; Yt is desired they would send in their mony by Mr Hunt, to the Treasurer (A Guinny being computed to be the moderate rate of each plate) to the end their names may be writ on their Plates, as they come to be graved.
Orderd, That Mr Hunt fit up 2 of the Chests of Drawers in the Repository, with convenient drawers and partitions, for the preserving such things as are to be sorted, and kept distinct.
The Council do propose to the Society, Mr Molt as a Person fitt to be imployed in making the Chymical Operations, which shall be ordered by the Society. ' |
