' Mr Hauksbee delivered in Mr Austins Bill for the Anniversary Dinner at Pontac's which Amounting to the Sum of £15..09.00 more than the Collections, the Same was put to the Ballot and being approved was Ordered to be paid.
Mr Hauksbee delivered in a Bill for Sevices done, in Sorting all the original Letters to the present Time, in the order of the Alphabet and in the Order of Time. And in Classifying all the other papers under proper heads according to the Method of Lowthorps Abridgment and he Submitted the consideration of the Said Services to the Discretion of the Council.
Whereupon a Gratification of Ten Guineas being put to the Ballot and approved, It was Ordered That Mr Hauksbee be paid the Sum of £10..10..00 in consideration of the Said Services, and in full of all other demands to this day Salary excepted.
Dr Goldsmith, Dr Wilmot and Mr Littleton Brown were Severally put to the Ballot and approved as Candidates for Election. ' |
