The Minutes of last Council were read.
Lord Percivale and Sir John Evelyn took the Oath as members of the Council.
The Draughts of the three new Statutes were read pursuant to the order of Council of January 4th and after this their Second reading each being Severally put to the question was pass't into a Law Nem : Contradicente.
Ordered that the Said three new Statutes be entered in the Statute Book at the end of the Sixth Chapter concerning the Election of Members.
Ordered that the Secretaries or either of them de immediately take the Books of the Society under their own charge pursuant to the Statutes of the tenth Chapter.
Ordered that the Clerk enter into the Letter Book Such of Dr Jurins Letters as were wrote by order of the Society and that the copies be returned back to Dr Jurin after they Shall be transcribed.
Sir Robert Pye Bart. The Honourable Captain Henry Colepeper Fairfax and Mr Cartwright being Severally put to the Ballot for Candidates were approved. |
